Thanks for playing my game! Everything you see and hear was made by your truly.

If you come across any bugs, please let me know, and please give the game another try by refreshing the page :)

Note: The "AI" is currently rudimentary, I'm sure you can figure out it's strategy easily!

Seeker Rules

Turn based strategy game where pieces move across the board according to their role and can capture enemy pieces.

There are four roles:

  • Kid (Circle, 1 space, any direction)
  • Seeker (Star, up to 3 spaces, any direction)
  • Mover (Square, up to 2  spaces along row/column)
  • Sneaker (Diamond, up to 2 spaces diagonally)

You and your opponent have the same objectives: either get the Kid to the other side, capture all your opponents pieces, or capture the Kid while your opponent has it.

On each turn, you move each of your pieces (Kid/Seeker go last) by clicking a highlighted square. You may choose to swap the roles of two of your unmoved pieces by clicking on the piece you wish to swap with. You will take up the moves of both pieces by doing this, so act wisely! And remember, your opponent can do the same.

Initially, Blue team starts out with the Kid and Red team starts with the Seeker. Every 2 turns, the Kid and the Seeker swap roles (and teams). You only have either the Kid or the Seeker on any given turn. The Seeker will not be able to move on the turn that it is switched.

If you lose the Seeker, you do not lose the game, but the Seeker is out of the game for both players, and you will not get the Kid again. This means your only way to win is by capturing all enemy pieces

Home Row Movement:

  • The Seeker cannot move to the two home rows of the opposing team.
  • You cannot swap roles if either piece is on the two home rows of the opposing team.
